HISD (Hueston Independent Spit District)

Some good hip-hop I had the opportunity to come across while in H-town. Anybody that heard a Hurricane named Katrina know that New Orleans and Houston have a special bond in the wake of the evacuations and FEMA checks.

Nevertheless, these dudes have that old school 90's hip-hop sound that I wanna bring back. But you can check it out and let me know what you think.

Damn, I was definitely feeling this track. It's funny because you can't even tell that they're Southern at all. They sound like Tribe Called Quest here. Nice vid man.

Your anti-Southern bias makes me sad, Guy. Like, really.

Regardless, hooray for no-budget videos. This video is really fun.
